I never really read books growing up as a kid. I was more about newspapers and magazines. But now in the HD digital era, you can't really get excited over issues of the morning paper, especially if you’re blogging. I’m sure most of us have the CD before editors even get a chance to review it, so where does this leave us? Not sure, but when it comes to music mags, Fader is still top of the game. With good interviews, well layed out high quality photos, they stay in stride with what’s now not then. And when you get an issue in your hand it feels a little more then just a magazine. It doesn’t roll up easy like other rags, so it’s cool that they are offering it free online. So check it out. I mean, what else are you going to do when you’re waiting for your next myspace message or blog comment. This month’s issue a person I highly respect is on the cover-Damon Albarn. You can't hate him even if you wanted to. From about 98 until now, I still ask my stylist for Damon circa 94 cuts and he loves it. So bookmark Fader, dl this podcast and pick it up. Women love dudes with magazines...
